With in-house engineering, detailing, advanced hot dip galvanizing, and application of intumescent fireproofing and cryogenic protection, we provide comprehensive solutions to a diverse customer base including large EPC companies, general contractors, and direct end users/owners.
We are seeking an experienced General Manager to join our team, driving the continued success and growth of our $100m
business.
The General Manager will oversee all strategic and daily operations of our 300,000 sq.
ft.
facility, fostering a positive culture that aligns with our core family values and inspires exceptional service.
This individual will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards, maximizing efficiency, and expanding our market penetration.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement business strategies that align with the company's mission, values, and vision.
Direct the operations and resources of the company, including engineering, detailing, galvanizing, and the application of fireproofing and cryogenic protection.
Lead, inspire, and manage a diverse team, upholding a culture that promotes excellent performance and a positive working environment.
Build and maintain relationships with key clients, industry leaders, and relevant stakeholders.
Monitor operational and financial performance, taking necessary actions to improve efficiency and profitability.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and quality standards.
Stay informed about the steel fabrication market and industry trends.
Oversee budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing.
Develop comprehensive plans to achieve company goals.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or a related field.
An MBA is a plus.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior management role, preferably within the steel fabrication industry or a similar vertical.
Proven track record in a complex enterprise, demonstrating a firm understanding of business functions such as HR, finance, marketing, and operations.
Competency in strategic planning and business development.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.
Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, and financial management skills.
High ethical standards and integrity.
Proven ability to build consensus and relationships among executives, partners, and the workforce.
